Sacred Music

Juventutem supports sacred music for the spiritual edification of the youths and of every souls as well as for the greater glory of God through the liturgy. In August 2005, the Juventutem Consort and Choir have performed music and chant of the highest quality with professional musicians and singers and with talented Juventutem pilgrims as well. In St Antonius Church, Düsseldorf, Germany, Juventutem hosted the world premiere of famous British composer Sir John Tavener's Missa Brevis for mixed choir, conducted by Richard Llewellyn, Director of Music. The organ was played by John McGreal, Titular Organist of the London Oratory (UK). Following these various performances, a beautiful compact disc was produced by Juventutem (French association), including J.S. Bach's Mass in b minor, Palestrina's Assumpta Est, Lauridsen's O Magnum Mysterium and many more.
