What priests accompany Juventutem groups?

Every Juventutem group is encouraged to seek pastoral support from a pious and learned cleric in good standing, also approved by the Juventutem Bureau and Ecclesiastical Assistant.

A lay movement, Juventutem is by definition independant from a religious order or from a particular community. In conformity with the liturgical specificity of Juventutem, the more time a cleric ordinarily devotes to a "traditional" ministry (i.e. according to the liturgical and spiritual traditions mentioned in the motu proprio Ecclesia Dei Adflicta), the more apt he is to collaborate with Juventutem. Clerics members of societies whose constitutions define such traditional ministry are privileged collaborators of Juventutem.

In various countries however, diocesan clerics or members of societies which do not ordinarily use the Roman liturgy of 1962 do provide pastoral support for Juventutem groups. In which case they respect the specificity of Juventutem and promote its charism.
